Investigation

Choose a selection of friezes from the following images.

• Identify the frieze type of each one. Sketch the template tile for each one.
• Try to find or design some more friezes, for example friezes for wallpaper borders, for buildings, or for other objects of decoration. Identify the pattern type of each one. Show the template tile in each case.
